WordPress have just announced the version 2.6 is available for download. The main novelties are the possibility to track changes in posts now (wiki style), the possibility to blog from around the web and the integration with Google Gears. Minor changes include:

Akhir Juni 2007 lalu, Avatar wordpress akan muncul dalam recent comments. Jika anda sudah memasang recent comments dalam widget wordpress anda, maka anda bisa melihat perubahan baru fitur ini. Jika anda mengisi komentar di wordpress, maka Avatar anda akan ditampilkan di sebelah kiri komentar yang anda tulis.

If you have the recent comments widget on your blog you might have noticed a small change to it this afternoon. Now, next to each comment link is the avatar of the person who left the comment.

By default the widget will display 48×48px avatars but if it’s not to your tastes, then visit your widgets page and you can change the size of those images, and even disable them if that suits.

Sepertinya fitur baru ini belum banyak diketahui oleh pengguna wordpress. Dari pengamatan beberapa blog yang memasang widget recent comments, kebanyakan avatar masih “blank”. Oleh karena itu, bagi anda yang belum mengupdate atau mengisi avatar untuk wordpress anda, segeralah updtae segera. Nggak ada ruginya kok, malah anda akan untung. Selain recent comments kita tampil lebih menarik, kita juga bisa promosi, siapa tahu ada yang mau naksir, hehehe…..
